The suite was lovely, featuring a four-poster bed and a small balcony. We enjoyed breakfast in the charming bar area, where our dog was welcome. The hotel’s quirky decor and museum-like atmosphere added to its charm, making it a unique experience. Conveniently located near several landmarks, we found it easy to explore the beautiful area together. The staff were friendly, and the vintage lift and art gallery were highlights for our family. We would happily stay again!

I loved the value I got for my money, with large, comfy rooms that really had a charming, vintage feel. The location was perfect, just steps from the beach, and the staff made me feel right at home with their warm hospitality.
Breakfast delights could be enhanced with a few more pastry options.

During my recent business trip, I loved the quirky charm of the hotel and how unique it felt! The location is pretty great, just a pleasant walk from the beach and local attractions. I also enjoyed the tasty breakfast - lots of choices and the hot food was constantly replenished, which was a nice touch!
The room was a bit of a letdown. The clutter was overwhelming, and some furniture felt really dated. The bed was super hard, which wasn’t ideal since I needed restful sleep for my work. one of the bedside lamps was broken, making it a hassle to see late at night. not the most comfortable stay!

The unique vintage decor filled the space with a charming character that felt mad really like stepping back in time. Breakfast featured a good spread, fueling up for coastal strolls while enjoying views of the seaside.
The bathroom setup left a lot to be desired, with notorious issues like an unreliable toilet and showers lacking hot water. Despite the warm weather, the absence of air conditioning was good, and the missing mini-fridge meant drinks stayed warm. Decor elements like peeling wallpaper and clunky furniture gave off a shabby vibe, and without proper lighting, the room felt dim and unwelcoming.

Stayed for 1 night and the staff were super friendly and helpful, great vibes. The breakfast was delish with lots of options and we had it outside which was nice on a sunny day. The location is just perfect for swimming in the walpole bay tidal pool, loved it! Room was comfy and had a cool view. The bathroom felt modern. All in all, much better experience than my last visit!
The only downside was that the room could use a few more plugs for charging devices. Some things still felt a little quirky which might not be for everyone.

Had a lovely 4-night stay where I enjoyed the excellent breakfast and cozy afternoon tea. The chill lounge was perfect for unwinding after a busy day, and the peaceful garden area was a nice touch. Just make sure to bring earplugs if you're sensitive to a bit of noise from the balcony door that could use a doorstop! 😊

Couple looking for something unique
The hotel is really good. The breakfast was one of the best we've had in ages, and the staff genuinely seemed to care about your comfort. It reminded me of being at home, but better.
It wasn't the cheapest option, but still acceptable for what we got.

Such a unique and interesting place! The friendly staff created a welcoming atmosphere and the 1927 lift added a quirky touch. Although the mattresses weren't the best, breakfast was plentiful and delicious. A lovely location near the beach makes this a nice stay.
